Since retiring in 2019 and leaving the cold weather during our winters I have decided to change the blog to "Gray Nomads vs Grey Nomads" since this spelling is both common and the 1st way is not taken. Any trips we decide to take we'll post here, including any of our Lutheran Early Response Teams as well.

Easter Sunday @ Trinity
He has Risen!
Greetings from South Haven Mississippi,
Today was just an awesome day here in New Orleans lower 9th ward as Trinity church has now opened! Amen....
Today's service was bitter sweet with emotions of happiness but sad as we say so long to this chapter of mission work at Trinity. For many of us that have been involved in the rebuilding in New Orleans and the lower 9th ward it is hard to say goodbye to this chapter as we have have completed a part of this mission and now seek what God has in plans for each one of us as we move on.
I can say I have met allot interesting people and have built relationships not only with the residence but the rest of the Chicago land teams, and I thank you each for that.
I've added an old video project from January 2010 just a look of what is was and now below of what it is:
Below are some pictures of today's event's thanks to Shelly & Kurt so enjoy and watch for the video of the dedication of Trinity to be posted!
