Greetings to you all
Today marked our last full work day in Joplin and what a productive day it was.
First I must warm you I'm writing day 4 from my phone seeing that the Internet is not very good,so here we go.
As I said earlier in the week our install 2 outlets that turned into a complete re-wire of the house is almost complete by Bob & I and help from Chris and with the guidance of our Lord! Tomorrow we are going back for about 3 hours with hopes of completing all but the pool and a few other small issues.
The tool shed people completed the build for 3 more additional house for habit so when the weather gets better they are ready to be built.
The out reach teams have worked very steadily and have learned how Joplin ticks and just how the tornado affected the town.
Tonight's diner was slightly early with the presentation of a new laptop to Lt.Darren who was in charge of the command post during the disaster in 2011. 2 nights ago he gave us a presentation that was just fantastic but his old laptop was having issues , so that was all Shelly had to see and BOOM it was a new task and a very much needed gift. See Lt.Darren does talk to groups and presents this to many different groups to help educate everyone on just what happened .
Tomorrow our day will conclude with a lunch around noon then back to Illinois to a warm climate .... One can hope!
