Good Morning to you all !
Another good day had by all here in New Orleans La. with plenty of Sun and work for the crews @ Trinity in the lower 9th ward of New Orleans and @ Camp Restore.The walls are going up and almost done for the repair of the outside wall at Trinty that termittees had pretty much destroyed.
The interior wall had to be removed as well and then rebuilt due to the studs having to be replaced from the damage.
@ Camp Restore majority of the fluorescent lights have been replace with LED lights to help with energy cost here at CR, additional items are being looked at to make the areas much safer for the staff and the volunteers.
Last night the group went to eat out "on the town" but not downtown we went to a place called Middendorf"s Seafood and it was good , quiet and plenty of lighting while we dined and shared our day.
Most of the crews came back after dinner and yes, got to bed early ,ya know the sun and then the cool air at night after a great meal just makes you plain tired!
So we are off to another day here in New Orleans , I understand that Mr.Levi will be visiting a special friend today at a Lutheran school downtown New Orleans hopefully we'll get some pictures of that !
Levi has been such a blessing to have on this trip to just brighten up the faces of the home owners as well as the volunteers here at camp.
So thats all for now looks as we are on the down slide of the trip and will be back to the tundra by the weekend, if your inclined please pray for good traveling weather for the crews going back to Illinois ,Texas and of course Wisconsin !
