Good Afternoon to all!
Well the weather has defiantly changed here in ND! todays high has been about 55º and possibly 25mph winds.Yikes..but better weather is in store for tomorrow! Sunny but still windy I'll take it!
Today I went out the the pile site that I will be working at and took some pictures of the "pre-harvest" so you can get an idea of how many sugar beets there actually are once done, oh and this is just 1 site.
If your unaware that these beets make sugar your not alone! It's worth digging into and checking it out it's truly quite the process.
This is where the trucks will back up and drop the load of beets.There are 2 pilers at this location and are expected to be 20ft high and a couple hundreds yards long the beets that is.
Well hopefully things will go well tomorrow and for the next 15 days ! No rain or freezing temps and we'll all be good!
