Good Morning to you all!
We do hope this day finds you all well and healthy. I do have a request a friend of ours out west has gotten COVID and prayers for healing would be appreciated.
This year Terry has made the trip and will be working the harvest as well for 2021 let's get r dun! We have our on site training tomorrow at 8am and then the harvest officially begins, though she has completed her orientation in Moorehead MN earlier this week as well.
We are staying at the same spot as last year in Casselton ND as well as other beet harvest folks as well.
The trip out seemed to be good we did it in 2 days taking our time and staying at Willow River state park near Hudson WI. We did have a slight issue with the TV ( tow vehicle ) aka the truck.. it started to lose slight power and was getting worse as we arrived to the campground in ND. Thankfully a local repair shop ( Earls Lt truck & car ) was able to diagnose and repair it before the harvest begun ! So appreciative and thankful that it was a reputable repair shop.
Today looks as if it's hurry up and get things done before the harvest begins cause you won't have time till it's done with 12 hr days......
We have taken a little leave from the vaccine clinic that I've worked at since February in seeing that that vaccines have slown done slightly but with the new approvals on the horizon one just doesn't know what may happen...
As for now I pray that you all stay safe and think of others as you go through life - hopefully I'll be able to keep up with the harvest 2021 info!!
